I recently heard a statistic that it takes a neighborhood with approximately 4,000 residents to successfully support a full-service grocery store. Of course the Peninsula neighborhood couldn’t support 4,000 residents (dogs and cats not withstanding), but the residents do seem to support their partial service Grocery Store, Peninsables.
In an effort to expand the services and convenience for neighborhood residents, Peninsables now offers Dry Cleaning and Laundry drop-off and pick-up services.
After researching area dry cleaning organizations, SonShine Dry Cleaners (out of North Liberty) offers the highest quality and most reliable services of all area vendors. This is a family owned operation (non-franchise) which fits with Peninsable’s “family owned” philosophy and approach.
And we’ve not forgotten our four-legged friends. As most of you know, Peninsables sells Woofables Gourmet Dog Biscuits, and now a offers a 10% Tuesday special. Dogs and their owners can enjoy a 10% discount on the purchase of all bulk gourmet dog biscuit treats. So stop by on Tuesday, and don’t forget to bring your owners!
We are pleased to be entering our second year of service and look to be your neighborhood grocer for many more years to come. Thank you for your on-going support. And if you haven’t visited the store, please do… it takes a neighborhood to keep us open, so use us or lose us, and we look forward to seeing you soon!
